So much happening this weekend in Roscoe, South Beloit, and Rockton! We'll have to save next week's events for our Sunday edition. But this weekend alone... there's garage sales, a rummage sale, an estate sale, live music, a pop-up market with live music, food trucks with live music, a nature walk with live bird calls, a historic walking tour, tales of the Wagon Wheel Resort, a blood drive, free tennis lessons, yoga, summer story time, and a retirement party at Roscoe Methodist.

Free presentation by Gary Glaser, Wagon Wheel historian. What started as a small hamburger stand grew into a premier entertainment venue in Northern Illinois during the mid-1900's in the small village of Rockton. Learn about the history of the Wagon Wheel Resort, the people who made it possible, and some of the interesting stories from that time.
