Aww… the Cricut Maker, one of my favorite things! Is it your’s too or are you a newbie and the Cricut Maker is sitting in your craft room collecting dust?

Well, no matter what end of the spectrum you are on, I have found some great Cricut Maker projects to inspire you to make your first project or to get the most out of it.

I rounded up some amazing things to make with a Cricut Maker from my favorite Cricut crafters to show you just what this Cricut machine can do that a Cricut Explore Air 2, Cricut Joy Xtra, and Cricut Joy can’t.

The Cricut Maker differs from the Cricut Explore Air in that it has an adaptive tool system. These Cricut Maker tools and blades can be swapped out on the same project! You also don’t need to buy housing for each blade. Read all about the Cricut Maker blades here.

With the expanded Cricut tool system, you are able to work with so many different materials while still getting intricate cuts. Think paper crafts, home decor, wood projects, vinyl decals, sewing projects, Infusible Ink crafts, and so much more!

I broke the Cricut Maker ideas down into three different categories based on what tool is used: Cricut rotary blade, knife blade, scoring wheel (some of them use more than one), wavy blade, engraving tip, perforation blade, and debossing tip.

All of these projects can also be made with the Cricut Maker 3! The Cricut Maker 3 opens up the option of cutting without a mat with Smart Materials.
